Letters to Santa

Tommy asked me to help him write a letter to Santa. Also, check out Tommy in his brief on screen debut in the pre-feature at all Megaplex movie theaters.

Dear Santa,

Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas! I have been a good boy and I want poker chips for Christmas to play poker with you. I want a wrench to turn things. Who pulls the sleigh? Reindeer! Do your reindeer fly? Do they race? Don't let them pull the sleigh because it is broken, but I will fix it with my wrench.

Don't get in the chippies (chips) and eat them because you are too big!

I want to give Blitzer (no, not Blitzen) a love because he is my favorite reindeer. You are my snuggly Santa Clause. I want the reindeer to eat the cookies like a cookie monster. I want you to take the Kia to someone else and throw it in the garbage. I want the reindeer to drive a new Kia to us.

Bring me lots of presents and bring Luke a present and bring daddy and mommy a present. I want you to come stay at our house after Christmas and bring me a big remote control airplane outside!

Kids Say the Darndest Things

Some of my favorite things that Tommy has told me:

1. Lately Tommy wants me to share everything with him. Even if we are eating the same thing he always has to have some of mine. The other day I said, "Hey Tom, what do you want for lunch?"

He said, "Um...chicken nuggets, what do you want?"

I said, "I don't know, I will find something."

Then he told me, "Well, when you figure it out, I want a bite of your something."

2. This morning after a long night with Luke I was sitting in the rocking chair trying to stay awake. Tommy came up to me and said he had found a ladybug in the living room and he wanted me to go see it. I told him I needed just a minute and I would go with him. He looked at me and said, " Will you look at it with me when your eyes aren't so heavy?"

3. "Mommy, don't get mad at me."

4. "Luke wants you to put him down and pick me up."

5. "I am going to pick you up and throw you in the garbage, "
